If you are riding correctly it should use just about every muscle in you body! It's about the best workout I've ever heard of!
Especially those hard to work muscles of your upper inner leg. Sort of like bench pressing works out your armpit fat. Ha.
well when i go horse riding i use my calf muscel which is what you mainly use ur tummy muscels to hold u up right
thanks xxx
It helps you balance and gain leg strength.
There is no specific horse you have to use for horseback riding, as long as the horse is trained.
Because you use your legs and arm muscles a lot. Your leg muscles are needed to squeeze the horses sides to indicate which gait you would like and your arm muscles for controlling the horse. You don't have to be super fit but you do have to be in good shape. Experience: Been horseback riding for all my life and own a horse.
a horse
Yes.
Regularlly
Hoseback sport is racing and competitions. It is a sport because you have to use your leg muscles 24/7. Trotting is all calf muscle, i cant believe people think horseback riding is a sport because you can compete and it is exercise.
There is evidence of horseback riding in prehistoric cave paintings.
By calculating the distance of how far you rode
In American English, that is called "bareback riding," so perhaps "horseback riding" implies the difference between riding with or without a saddle. The first horse races I went to, at a county fair back in the 50s, did not have the jockeys sitting on the horses' backs, but rather in sulkies drawn behind the horses.
yes Ronald Reagan loved horseback riding
Horseback riding depends on the horse you ride and your level of comfort with the horse.
