I can't think of many. There are no extremes of weather, no earthquakes, no volcanoes, no dangerous animals.

That doesn't mean there are none. "Even" the British mountains can be dangerous in bad weather, especially to the inexperienced or ill-equipped. The first few months of 2014 was marked by unusually high rainfall that caused fairly extensive flooding, particularly on the Somerset Levels (SW England) - the area is effectively a polder. Parts of the coast have high cliffs formed in fairly weak rock, so present a rock-fall hazard to anyone rash enough to venture too close to them. True, all the British Isles' volcanoes are long-extinct but the UK does have earthquakes. In fact the British Isles has many of them - but luckily very few are strong enough to do any damage and most are detectable only by seismographs.
