The ABO and Rh blood types do not affect the ability to become pregnant. If the mother's Rh factor is negative, there might be an issue with a condition called Erythroblastosis fetalis, if the baby is Rh positive like the dad. If the mother is Rh negative, the doctor will take blood work to find her "titer" or if she has any anti-Rh+ antibodies circulating in her blood stream. He will also offer her a medication called RhoGam (Human Immunoglobulin D) at either the 7th month of the pregnancy or he might wait until the blood type of the child has been verified. What the medicine does is it prevents her from making anti-Rh+ antibodies that could affect her pregnancies.
tell her straight what's done is done and there is nothing she can do about it.
It very much depends on the surgery. In general, elective surgery should not be done during a pregnancy. Emergency surgery, such as appendicits, gall bladder attack, trauma such as in a car accident or a broken bone, sometimes needs to be done inspite of a pregnancy. If you are pregnant and are contemplating elective surgery, certainly your doctor needs to know that you are pregnant. Do not go into any surgery knowing you are pregnant without telling your surgeon.
Not only can the pregnant mother's health be severely effected, the baby can have irreversible damage done. FAS (Fetal Alcohol Syndrome is very serious and everything should be done to avoid it.

You need to be inseminated with the sperm from a man to become pregnant. this can either be done by having sexual intercourse with a man or it can be done through artificial methods. However in either case the sperm required to fertilize your ovum which in turn will make you pregnant needs to come from a man.

This is question that you need to talk to your doctor and family about.
No, you can not get pregnant after having it done. Remember, once done this can not be undone.
Absolutely! Its called a prenatal paternity test and it can be conducted after 8 weeks of pregnancy! This test can be done with the mother of the child and potential father of the child. This test is done with a simple blood test with the mother and a buccal test (cheek swab) with the potential father. Results are returned in 7 days from your lab. So, it is indeed possible to get a paternity test while you are pregnant.
