This can be caused by nerves or possibly a filling in a tooth. Some fillings can be very sensitive to head/cold and the nerves run from the gums right up to the nasal nerves. If you notice when you have a sinus problem it appears your gums ache, around your nose and under your eyes as well.
spinal cord
the ear drum
The scruff.... I picked him up by the 'scruff' of the neck
the pinna is like an ear trumpet that funnels sounds into the ear canal..
The greater and lesser occipital nerves run from the region where the spinal column meets the neck (the sub-occipital region) up to the scalp at the back of the head.
yes

The central nervous system consists of the brain and spinal cord. The nerves leading from the spinal cord make up the peripheral nervous system.
Birds and reptiles have three inner ear bones to help them hear. They are used to collect sound and cause vibrations which are then picked up by nerves.
Peripheral neurons are bundled together to make up the 31 pairs. Each pair of nerves is named for the vertebra from which it exits. C1-8. These nerves enter from the eight cervical or neck vertebrae.
Cuddle up to her , whisper is her ear , rub her leg , kiss her neck make her feel wanted :)
Look up "Trigeminal neuralgia" its very likely this is what you have.
Because ..The nerves in your hand are reacting to the change but sometimes this can be dangerous and you can mess up the nerves in your hand .Melissa , 12 :)
it is made up by nerves and associated cells that are not part of the brain and the spinal cord, included here are cranial nerves that pass through openings in the skull and stimulate regions of the head and neck, spinal nerves, and ganglia(ganglia are collections of nerve cell bodies).
Sound waves are 'collected' by the ear drum. This is a film stretched across the ear canal. Much like it's namesake, it responds to sound waves by vibrating. These vibrations are read as electrical signals by your nerves, and it is transmitted to brain as impulses.
The spinal cord is the long cord of nerves that connects the brain to the rest of the body below the neck. The backbone (vertebral column) made up of individual vertebrae provides flexible protection for the critical structure.
