only 96 and newer have OBD ports
Try a Ford Ranger pickup. Any F100 frame will be too wide to fit the tires under the fenders. A common swap is an S10 frame.
yes only 2 or 3
1953 Ford F100, according to IMCDB.

no the models are to different and from different years
yes it will I have a 1946 ford pickup on a 1961 4x4 frame, Ford, I left a little room between the cab for the dual exhaust stacks and chopped a little off the frame in the back. Its also got a 7 inch lift with 38'' swampers.
I believe you will need to look at the Ford Ranger for a 118 inch wheel base.
I am working on mounting a 1949 Willys pickup onto a 1978 F150 shortbox frame. If you look at the Ford's frame, you will see that it is within a couple of inches in length and width. You will have to fab up some body and front clip mounts, but its nothing that some 'ol steel pile stock and garage logic can't fix. Good luck!
