i guess it is because there neck is so skinny its hard not to have a hi pitch and when u have a hi pitch it sounds loader and something with the shape of there beak has something to do with it i bet

They can make a loud "onk, onk" noise or a soft "peep" or they can hiss if they are mad at you.
