I have 5 pigs and they are only loud if they are about to eat or if you slap them in the butt so they are mostly quiet
Guinea pigs have excellent hearing and can hear sounds at a higher frequency than humans. They use their sense of hearing to communicate with each other through various vocalizations such as squeaks, whistles, and purring. Loud noises can startle guinea pigs and may cause them stress, so it's important to keep their environment quiet and peaceful.
Falabellas are known to be generally quiet and gentle horses. They typically have calm and friendly temperaments, but like all horses, individual personalities may vary. Proper handling and training can help ensure a well-behaved and quiet Falabella.
They squeak for many resons. If its a loud squel that can mean they're in pain. If they make a short loud squeck that most likely means there mad. and if they just make a medium squeak it means they're happy.
This purring noice occurs when you pet a guinea pig too rough, and like you said, when loud noices such as the telephone or the dog barking startle it. It is basically just a noice it makes when it is startled.
Whenever a sound occurs that is so loud that it hurts a guinea pig's ears the guinea pig may act stunned. Along with that, when hearing a very loud noise a guinea pig's ear(s) will twitch or flop up then down. Please note, that attempting to make the animals ear twitch with loud noises is seriously disrespectful to the animal and should never be done on purpose.
It's a simile. It is also an oxymoron, with the idea of loud quiet (the noun quiet modified by the adjective loud).
