Breeding of any dog should be pevented before the age of two years. This allows time for you pet to be fully mature physically. It also allows for a substantial period for observation of temprement and behavioral characteristics. Spend time reading about your specific breed as well what to expect with breeding whelping and care for new pups. It can be quite demanding time wise and a real stress situation if things go wrong.
Stud fees routine pre and post breeding vet exams and emergency care all add up. Single breedings are almost never money makers. give it a lot of thought before you jump in.
