When taking part in physical activity the muscles need to be warmed up and stretched. Depending on how hard your activity is you need to make sure you have water and you need lots of carbohydrates, protein and sugar. The carbohydrates will give you energy, the protein help growth and repair of muscles and water help hydration. Otherwise than that your muscles don't really need any nutrients.
