Dear all First of all i would prefer to call it a Masjid instead of a Mosque which is a place of worship in congrigation. It is a place which is maintained well for the people to find peace and tranquility while worshipping. There are no items kept in a Masjid. It is just a plain hall were in you find Quran and some of the other religious books for the people to read. Other than that there is nothing kept in the Masjid. There is also a place for doing "Wadu" that is ablution (cleaning oneself with water in a ritualistic manner prescribed in Islam) before anyone starts to pray or worship. Farook

The minbar inside the mosque is a structure of few steps (minimum three steps) ended by a seating flat area. This is to be stepped up by the leader of the mosque (Imam) when delivering a sermon during Friday prayer or other religious occasions as Eid Al-fitr or eid Al-Adha.
