The phases of Venus are well supported by the heliocentric system, but they are also supported very well by the previous geocentric system. All you need for Venus to have phases is that Venus should pass between Earth and Sun. That happens in both the heliocentric system and the geocentric system.
None of it but Galileo's discoveries with the telescope were very important in raising questions about the old Ptolemaic theory, which was geocentric. However Galileo's discovery of Venus's phases was not a proof of the heliocentric principle because Tycho produced a geocentric model that explained Venus's phases.
In astronomy, the geocentric model or the Ptolemaic worldview of the universe is the superseded theory that the Earth is the center of the universe and other objects go around it. Belief in this system was common in ancient Greece. It was embraced by both Aristotle and Ptolemy, and most Ancient Greek philosophers assumed that the Sun, Moon, stars, and naked eye planets circle the Earth. Similar ideas were held in ancient China. Two common observations were believed to support the idea that the Earth is in the center of the Universe: The first observation is that the stars, sun, and planets appear to revolve around the Earth each day, with the stars circling around the pole and those stars nearer the equator rising and setting each day and circling back to their rising point.[2]; the second is the common sense perception that the Earth is solid and stable it is not moving-but is at rest. The geocentric model was usually combined with a spherical Earth by ancient Greek and medieval philosophers. It is not the same as the older flat Earth model implied in some mythology. The ancient Greeks believed that the motions of the planets were circular and not elliptical, a view that was not challenged in western culture before the 17th century. The geocentric model held sway into the early modern age; from the late 16th century onward it was gradually replaced by the heliocentric model of Copernicus, Galileo and Kepler. Today, geocentric cosmology survives as a literary element within alternate history and science fiction. By Edem Uboh(Lead City University,Ibadan.)
an atmosphere, air or what the creature breathes and water
geocentric
Kepler spent his entire adult life trying to figure out what kind of arrangement would be the simplest and most accurate explanation for the motions we actually see in the sky. He tried several of them, and he eventually determined that the best fit was obtained if the planets, including the earth, all moved in elliptical orbits around the sun. That's heliocentric.

The Geocentric model of the solar system proposed that the Earth was at the centre of the system (and universe), while the sun and planets revolved around the Earth. We now know this not to be true and that the sun is at the centre of the solar system (Heliocentric). This was suggested as early as the 3rd century BC by Aristarchus of Samo, but he received no support from other astronomers at the time. Nicolaus Copernicus later in the 16th Century proposed the helicentric model that we see true today.
Because to them, it made sense. After all, the sun seemed to move across the sky each day.

Supplements that will improve your Baseball performance include, fish oil, protein, BCAA's, and joint support products. The Joint support products are especially important due to all the different stop and go motions performed while playing baseball.
The spouse is not responsible for her husband's child support obligation. Not yet, but things may change as states are attempting to address the volume of motions to reduce support orders by laid off fathers. It will require a legislative change.
The ideaitself tend toward the "heaviest" center was basis of the geocentric system. Copernicus argued that movement was basis of that system is only perceived, not real and used examples to predict the movement of planets to support his own theory
