It is possible to celebrate almost any occasion, such as getting a new job or passing exams or getting baptised, but not the 'traditional' ones such as birthdays, Christmas and Easter etc. Most if not all occasions have some pagan, religious or nationalistic background that Witnesses try and avoid.
