Suspensions occur when a liquid has reached a total saturation point and can no longer dissolve a substance into the liquid. The solvent is then suspended in the solution
Suspension and Colloid
A suspension is a mixture of liquids with particles of a solid which may not dissolve in the liquid. Therefore, air would be a suspension.
yes of course
Opaque ones - like milk.
colloids
It would not be a colloid, it would be a suspension.
1. suspension 2.colloidal 3.solution
You think probable to a suspension.
suspension
we could call it the solvent or suspension
suspensions colloids (and to some extent thixotropic fluids)
Yes, colloids scatter light. Colloids are mechanical mixtures; all mechanical mixtures scatter light. Solutions are the only mixtures that do not scatter light. The scattering of light by mixtures is known as the Tyndall effect, btw.
