4 cycle oil also known as 4 stroke oil.
Reason: 4 cycle oil is not meant to be mixed with gasoline as the weedwacker has 2 separate lines for fuel and lubricant.
Conversely 2 cycle weed wackers require 2 cycle engine oil to be mixed at a ratio of 40:1 with the gasoline.
No 4 cycle motors have oil reservoir an 2 cycle motors you mix your with the gas (unless the 2 cycle motor is injected then you would put oil in a tank.) Hope this helps
unless it says 4 cycle fill it about a inch from full & use 2 cycle oil to finiush the other inch & fill it. always put the gas in first & then the oil. shake the trimmer a little to get it mixed all through the gas.
If you mean 4 cycle oil in a 2 cycle bike, the answer is no. Use only 2 cycle oil in a 2 cycle motorcycle.
Two-stroke oil is the same stuff whether it says "snowmobile," "outboard" or "weed whacker" on the bottle. As long as the mix ratio is right, you can put the same oil in your snowmobile and your boat.
You don't use oil, you use grease
If you put it in the gas just empty the tank and put new fuel in it. If you put it in the oil reservoir drain oil and put new 4 cyc. oil in let warm up then change it again it should be OK.
No, the properties of two-cycle oils are different than four-cycle oils. Two-cycle oil is not designed to be a "reusable" oil. Two-cycle oil is designed to be used and expelled/burnt.
you need to put the weed in vegetable oil, let it simmer for about 20-30 minutes, drain out the weed, and the oil will be cannoil and u can make brownies with it and i guess u can drink it if you want but ull probably throw up
If you do not use oil in the engine it will destroy itself due to lack of lubrication. If it is a 2 cycle you mix 2 cycle oil with the gasoline to lubricate the engine. If it is a 4 cycle then you put the oil in the crankcase to lubricate the engine.
A four cycle engine does not use a gas/oil mixture. The oil is in the crankcase and the gas goes in the gas tank. If you put oil in the gas on a 4 cycle engine it will run poorly and smoke a lot.
The type of oil you use depends on the type of engine you have. A good way to tell if it is a two-cycle or 4-cycle is to look for an oil filler cap - usually a screw-in cap about 1 to 1-1/2 inches in diameter. If the engine has an oil filler cap, it is a 4-cycle engine and you add 30-weight oil through the filler hole. If there is no oil cap, then the engine is a 2-cycle and you must mix 2-cycle oil with the gasoline. If it is a 2 cycle be sure and use only 2 cycle oil in the mix.
If you put it in for engine oil you will have a major problem. If you put it in with the fuel then you will notice the mower smoking a lot and possibly fouling the spark plug.
