A ration stamp or ration card is a stamp or card issued by a government to allow the holder to obtain food or other commodities that are in short supply during wartime or in other emergency situations. Ration stamps were widely used during World War II by both sides after hostilities caused interruption to the normal supply of goods. They were also used after the end of the War while the economies of the belligerents gradually returned to normal.

Ration cards, also known as ration stamps, are issued by a government to be used towards food or other rationed items. These are important because they are given out during a time when resources are low in a country and it ensures that people conserve valuable items.
The Embargo Act was placed in hopes that it would force Great Britain and France to recognize America's neutrality. It didn't happen, and caused an economical failure for a short period of time.

The goal of implementing a year-long daylight savings time during the oil embargo was to conserve energy. By extending daylight hours in the evenings, it was thought that less artificial lighting would be needed, resulting in reduced energy consumption. This was seen as a way to alleviate the impact of the oil shortage during the embargo.

Gasoline shelf life depends on the storage environment. If stored properly, gasoline is good for a very long time, but if stored improperly, it can deteriorate in less than a month.
This depends of the time the fruits were exposed to the gasoline, the amount of gasoline ( just poured over them or really soaked in gasoline ) and whether the fruits were complete or cut open. Oranges and grapefruit have a relatively thick protection layer around the consumable parts, so when the amount and duration of gasoline contact in not too extensive then the chemical shouldn't have the time to penetrate into the inner parts. So yes, oranges and grapefruit can still be eaten after ( brief ) contact with gasoline.
