The recommended oil for a 2004 Honda Rebel 250 is 10w40 for summer conditions. For colder climates or special use a different weight will be needed.
You could purchase the universal oil filter socket from any Honda Dealership.......... or you could use a more primitive method of driving a screwdriver through the actual filter itself (being sure not to hit the threaded shaft that the oil filter attaches to) and twist the filter off in a counter clockwise motion. A fram sure grip filter could then be placed back on in it's place and you can hand tighten the Fram Filter. Make sure the rubber seal from the old oil filter is not still on the engine block, and that you run a bead of oil on the new oil filter's rubber seal. Probably easier to just purchase the Oil Filter socket from a Honda Dealership............. the same oil filter is used in multiple Honda models.
There used to be a lemon jolly rancher flavor, but they stopped making it.
With stock(24") tires it will run about 54 mph on speedometer. At least that is what mine used to run. Also varies on motor condition, mainly how much compression you have. Also the type of ground you are on. Road = faster. Hard dirt= not as fast. Real loose dirt= not that fast 2002 Honda rancher 350 es goes 65 at top speed on pavement.
