bel-ray thumper 20w50. being air cooled they are prone to a high engine operating temp. especially in tight trail woods riding...so i would recommend 2.6 quarts(stock) of 20w50 and in addition, an aftermarket oversized aluminum oil tank will help, check out UM racing's website. these products are not cheap, but you always get what you pay for. i hope this is helpful to you.
