gm supercharger oil for the supercharger. any oil you prefer for the engine oil.
i found out that synthetic 5W-50 is an acceptable replacement for the super expensive Toyota supercharger oil
Superchargers use a special type of oil that you can get from the dealer. I bought a small oil canister for $50 OMG, so expensive but need it. Hope that helps. I use GM supercharger oil in mine.... it runs about $12 at a GM dealer and comes in a pretty good sized bottle.... I read that it worked, tried it, and have not had any problems....
Depending on the supercharger, it will require a special blend of synthetic oil. This synthetic oil normally is located in the supercharger itself. Most superchargers will have a hex nut located on the front of the supercharger. This area is used to drain and fill up the supercharger oil. You cannot use just any synthetic oil, you will have to use "Supercharger Oil"
I CHANGE MY OWN OIL IN MY 1991 PREVIA. 5W30 IS WHAT I HAVE USED FOR YEARS. PREVIA JUST PASSED THE 334,000 KM MARK
If the question is in reference to engine oil then according to the user manual on my 95 previa it is 10w 30.
Neglect to replace the supercharger oil.
Castrol 5w50 full synthetic
It takes 2 bottles of the GM supercharger oil (or Ford supercharger oil, they are the same product). Do not try to substitute anything else for it either. It is a specialized oil built for the iron bearings that are used in these superchargers.
It is under the driver seat next the transmission oil stick.
the previa holds 6.1 quarts of oil
The most common and normal signs will be: * Oil leakage from the supercharger * Supercharger making a knocking noise * Lower or no boost pressure * Oil not present inside the supercharger
