∙ 6y agoGED stands for Growth Education Development, but most commonly called General Equivalency Development or General Equivalency Diploma (GED).
This 4-part test is designed by American Council on Education. This test constitutes of five subjects and applicants skills are required to clear the entire subjects in order to get through this exam. On the successful completion of this test, aspirants are allowed to pursue for graduation or diploma degree.
Eligibility Criteria
Students are required to fulfill the eligibility criteria in order to get the permission to sit in the exam. It is as follows:
• Age of the candidate must be at least 16
• Must possess the middle school certificate
• Should not be a criminal or an anti social element

∙ 13y agoAlthough it can vary by state, most GED tests are broken into 5 sections. In most states you do not have to take all five tests in one day. Most testing centers offer a practice test as well as free study materials.
