there are actually a lot more than three but i will name the ones i am most familiar with, because i am studying the revolutionary war right now.

George Washington is definitely one of them, he was the leader of the Continental Army.

Another one is Nathan Hale. He got caught by british troops and was hanged. they say his last words were, "I only regret that I have but one life to lose for my country."

Ben Franklin could also be one. he was in Paris for a year trying to get the french to become allies with the Americans during the war.
