The firing order is 1-3-4-2. If you have the leads off the cap then you need to establish which is #1 and also the distributer rotation direction.Remove the dist.cap,rotate the engine using a socket on the crank pulley (clockwise as you look at the front of pulley)and look for the timing marks lining up on the pulley and cambelt cover.If the rotor arm is in the lower part of it's arc then you are probably firing #4. Rotate the engine again until the timing marks align again.The rotor should now be in the upper arc,this will be where to put #1 lead,follow on with3-4-2 in the direction it was observed rotating. #1 plug is at crank pulley end.
