Asparagus is lovely with just butter, or grilled with olive oil and garlic. It suits fish dishes and chicken dishes: for example a swordfish steak (marinated in garlic, cheese, olive oil and basil) with a side of new potatoes, some grilled asparagus and a little bit of meditteranean salad is divine. Or you can put asparagus in an omelette. Asparagus makes a great cheesy casserole topped with cheeze-its crumbled up. It accompanies pork in almost any form whether baked, grilled or fried.
Asparagus is related to other foods such as onions and garlic.
