Why would a man who has made a romantic overture to a woman and has been rebuffed keep mentioning the overture to her and the fact that she denied him?
I would say, (this is a poorly worded question so I'll do my best) that he is jealous of you spending time with another man or that he wantrs to get closer to you. I would say he might want a break and aybe be separated. (If that is clear) But, that doesn't mean he isn't still in love with you. If you mean by romantic overture, sex, sex is easily more worded, and maybe wants to do it again.
