well if its out of a TBI Chevy Blazer, truck, suburban, Tahoe etc. then there is a tentioner for the trans throttle on the drivers side of the tbi unit. similar to a chainsaw you cant have it to tight or to loose. a little play is all, otherwise it will think you are giving it more, or less throttle than you actually are. any other kind of vehicles im not sure.
