Fine can refer to a number of things.
A fine (noun) can be a penalty or a fee.
Fine (adjective) can mean good, ok, acceptable if describing someone's mood.
If fine describes and object, 'fine condition' it usually means pristine, perfect or of high quality. Fine can mean made up from small particles 'fine sand'
If referring to the weather it usually means clear, cloudless, and sunny.
There are several more, fine is one of the more versatile words in the English language. I'm fine with that.
