Camry's engines are not interchangeable. Even more you cannot replace 4 cylinders with 6 cylinders from the same year model. Basically you have to find the same year model of the engine.
You do not have much choice. If you have a 4-cylinder engine, your fit is 1997-2001 (5SFE). It's known that 3SFE fits Camry too (RAV4) but it involves some drilling.
1999 2000 and 2001 engines all fit on each other
No, it won't. They modify engines and mounts from year to year, sometimes even within model lines.

From 2000-2003 are the same engines in the GM family. Also look out of the same year of Pontiac and other Gm models will work with minor changes.
NO the crankshaft/flywheel bolt pattern is different.
1996-2000
There are many different models and engines for 2000 model year Chevrolets. Need more info please.
Most likely it will NOT work. Even so some parts are the same for both cars. But they are both belong to different year models. Toyota is well known for that.
2000 is the last year they did the inline 6 engine. The 2001 is the 3 and 3 format engine. The 2000 is 6 cylinder all in a row.
Your engine has relatively high mileage and it is not recommended to use synthetic oil with high mileage engines. The problem is many used engines will develop multiple leaks due to old gaskets. Otherwise, there is no problem not to use it. Mobil One is the best you can get. The grade you need is 5W30.
