There is no button for the turn signals. They are activated with the lever on the left side of the steering column just like any other car.

The tilt steering on your 1989 camaro is loose the steering column is loose and im not sure how to tighten it?

You have to remove your steering wheel. and then all other covers related to stopping you from getting to the four bolts that keep the tilt tight or you could have a broken bolt. but first things first you have to get to the bolts if not broken all you have to do is tighten them and you will be ready to roll. (there are four bolts)

What makes the steering wheel lock on a 2003 Hyundai and how do you unlock it?

Steering wheels are generally locked from the ignition switch. It is supposed to lock only in the OFF position. If you steering locks in any other key position, you likely have a problem with the linkage rod or cable that connects the ignition lock cylinder to the steering column. You have to take apart the dash and possibly the steering column to fix this.

How do you tighten the bolts on the ignition switch yoke of a 1989 Pathfinder?

you must remove the steering column cover to gain access to the screws, they will be on the left side of the steering column, four of them in all. If you have a problem with the ignition switch being loose, to prevent it from happening again you should remove the screws and apply some " loc tite" to the threads. This is only true if the vehicle is equipped with a steering lock, all other models the switch is mounted on the bottom half of the steering column cover.

Will a 1972 chevelle steering column fit a 1975 chevelle?

You can make it fit, but chances are the wiring harness will be different as well as the length... Especially the length. You can try it if you have one laying around, but I wouldn't pay for a '72 steering column if you are working on a '75 Chevelle. now, a steering column from ANY 1973-1977 GM A-body should work just fine, so if you can't get one from a '75 Chevelle, you DO have other options.

Erratic shifting mercury villager 2001?

My mechanic says the problem might be inside the steering column, some plastic parts and gears or whatever. I thought it might be a cable or the tranny. He says no, its where the shift lever contacts the actuators in the steering column. Bottom line, either get the innards for the steering column and pay to have them changed, or change the whole steering column. The problem has plagued mercury's for ever. Marquis were "shifting from park into reverse all by themselves, and rolling over children in the driveway". I stopped at a sausage cart the other day, and was standing there waiting for my food, and the lady said, "Your van is rolling away." I had to catch it, and then stop it, then get into it and try to shift it into park. The fix, is new parts inside the column, or a new column. Why? Because, sometimes the shifter sticks in park, and people reef on it to get it into gear, and the plastic parts inside the steering column break. Sometimes it is hard to find DRIVE. I think I'm in drive but really I'm in 2nd. So I keep looking for a new steering column, so I can get the parts, or replace the whole column. It's really a time bomb.

Were Stratus 1999 flasher relay?

If your question is where is it: Its right on top of the steering column. You'll need to take of the steering column cover first obviously. It looks just like any other relay. Mine's going bad and is sticking. I look kind of stupid tapping the relay (I've left my column cover off) when I sit at lights. Hope this helps
