no it goes through A part of china
The Great Wall of China wasn't built in one, or even a few, years. It started out as a bunch of smaller walls built around 400 BC. When Emperor Qin Shihuangdi ruled China around 220 BC to 206 BC, he began a project to connect these walls, to make a longer wall, and protect China from invaders. However, most of this part of the wall no longer remains. Most of the modern Great Wall of China was built by the Ming Dynasty, up until the 1500s. The Great Wall of China, despite its tremendous length, was unable to prevent invaders from attacking China, and thousands of workers died building the wall. So even though it is majestic, it is really a tragedy.

There was no single emperor who built the wall. The wall was built over a period of 20 dynasties, and by different Chinese states. Parts of the wall have fallen and been rebuilt many times over the centuries. Credit is often given to Qin Shi Huang, who built the most famous part of the wall, but even that wall was torn down long before the present wall existed.
