More towards the eastern end of Long Island, like Southampton, East Hampton, Bridge Hampton, etc. are not too family oriented. There are a lot of non-locals in the summer, a lot of very rich people. Westhampton/Westhampton Beach are more family orientated. There are less people, a very cute town, and the drive is shorter then going towards Southampton and East Hampton.
