quadriplegia, affecting all four limbs and the trunk
the backbone actually consists of spinal cord.spinal cord carries the nerves to brain the message for movement of lower part or any part of the body is sent by brain through spinal cord.so ,if backbone breaks the person will become paralysed.
yes the spine is very importantto the brain. the spine contains the spinal cord that is the main passageway for nerves to get to and from the brain ...if this passage way was to be disconnected in anyway it would cause the body, spine down, to become paralyzed
It's called Quadriplegic or quadriplegia.
Of course, if it's part of your body, it's a body part.
Cilia paralysis is when the cilia (tiny hairs on the end of some cells) stop working due to excessive smoking or part of the body not functioning properly. This means that dirt, microbes and excess mucus travel down the throat. This can cause harm to the lungs and trouble breathing. I hope you found this useful ;)
If a human is paralyzed it means that the person can not feel or move the part of the body that is paralyzed. There are many different parts of the body that can be paralyzed.
Quadriplegia is a medical condition caused by trauma to the cervical spinal cord in the neck, vertebrae levels C 1 through C 8. It results in either total or partial paralysis in all four limbs (arms and legs).
They are both paralyzed at some part of their body. One just happens to be more paralyzed.
Yes they just can't move some part of their body.
Stroke, polio, Guillain-Barré syndrome.

Paralyzed.
These include the excessive build-up of cerebrospinal fluid in the brain (a condition called hydrocephalus ), paralyzed arms and legs (spastic quadriplegia), an abnormally small head (microcephaly ), difficulty in tasks like walking and reaching.
Paralysis of four extremities is called quadriplegia or tetraplegia. Quadriplegic or tetraplegic is the correct term for anyone who has paralysis of all four limbs. Quadriparesis is weakness in all four limbs.
Paralyzed means that part(s) of your body no longer respond to your brain's commands to move. This is usually caused by some sort of traumatic damage (like a car wreck or a bullet wound), but can be caused by certain conditions or diseases as well. Depending on which parts are paralyzed, you might just have a weakness in one part of your body, or you could have to be in a wheelchair to get around.
