The temporal lobe, which is located in the bottom middle part of cortex, right behind the temples, is responsible for processing auditory information from the ears. It is also responsible for being able to understand meaningful speech.
The thalamus.
Olfactory bulb
Mot sure about hearing but vision is regulated by the Cerebrum.
The lobes in the back of the brain called the occipital lobes.
The optic nerves connect the brain and eyes.
its the cerebellum
The brain is part of the nervous and central nervous system. The sensory organs are also included: touch (skin), taste (tongue), vision (eyes), hearing (ears) and smell (nose).
The Occipital Lobe
Temporal lobe,is the part of the brain which interprets and processes auditory, or hearing.
The three lobes of the brain contribute mainly to perception. 1) Temporal lobe contributes to hearing. 2) Occipital lobe contributes to vision. 3) Parietal lobe contributes to touch and motor perception.
The Temporal Lobe
brain tumors affect whatever part of the brain they are in. If they are in the occipital lobe (the part of the brain that processes vision) they will affect the vision in multiple ways depending on where in the occipital lobe they are. I have heard of blindness, inability to see color (black and white vision), and many other peculiarities in vision due to tumors in the occipital lobe.
The midbrain controls functions, such as the movement and reflexes of the eyes, hearing, body temperature, and motor control. Other parts of the brain are the cerebellum, cerebrum, and brainstem.
Ryan has a right sided brain injury. The specific site of the brain injury can be determined by a formal visual field test or a brain scan like CT or MRI.
