Of the "basic" types of particulate radiation, the neutron has the highest penetrating ability. It is much more penetrating than the electron, positron, proton, or alpha particle.
GAS PARTICLES ARE FASTER AND MORE PENETRATING. (thats what she said) beta
Gamma, as it has the most energy by far.
Highest penetration: Gamma (y) Second highest: Beta (B)Weakest penetration: Alpha (a)Explanation: The relative penetrating abilities of alpha, beta, and gamma radiation. The heavy, highly charged alpha particles are stopped by a piece of paper (or the skin). The lighter, less highly charged beta particles penetrate paper, but are stopped by a 0.5-cm sheet of lead. Because gamma rays have no charge and no mass, they are the most penetrating, but can be stopped by several centimeters of lead.
Generally gamma radiation is the most penetrating one, but it is also least ionising. I don't quite understand what you mean by saying "Nuclide" radiation. Nuclides are generally isotopes, not radiation. Nuclides (isotopes) don't have to be radioactive, but the isotopes that lie outside the curve of stability (function of the number of proton and the number of neutrons in a particular nucleus) are unstable and do decay (are radioactive)
A beta particle is an electron or a positron, with a charge of -1 or +1, and a mass of about 1/1836 of a proton. An alpha particle, on the other hand is a helium nucleus, with a charge of +2, and a mass of two protons and two neutrons. The beta particle has more penetration ability than the alpha particle, but the alpha particle is more biologically dangerous when in close proximity to sensitive tissue, such as when inhaled into the lungs.
The alpha particle is the nucleus of 4He, comprising two neutrons and two protons. It has a atomic mass of 4 and a charge of +2. As a result, it is the least penetrating of all the various emissions (alpha, beta, gamma, neutron) but, unfortunately, it can be the most devastating if it is absorbed, for instance, into the lungs.
Neutrinos.
neutrinos
a positive charge which repels the particle! ;)
The gamma ray because a photon does not have electric charge and is thus does not experience force in a EM field. All the others are charged particles
Gamma, as it has the most energy by far.
Alpha particles are positively charged. They have low penetrating power but high ionizing power.
ultra voilet rays are characterized with high penetrating power ============================= The EM radiation with the highest penetrating power would be the flavor with the highest frequency/shortest wavelength. Those are the waves we call "gamma rays". A moment's thought will remind you that X-rays are more penetrating than ultraviolet rays are ... otherwise we'd be getting dental ultraviolets instead of dental X-rays.
Gamma rays are more penetrating than alpha and beta particles.
The most penetrating X-rays are the highest frequency (shortest wavelength) X-rays. They are the most energetic, and we sometimes refer to them as hard X-rays.
a few degrees before the particle become energy. it could change, dependent on the resistance of the particle for heatness.
Gamma, i.e. photon emitted from the nucleus, has the highest penetrating power.
Bothe and Becker of Germany in 1931 discovered an unusually penetrating particle from Polonium. When its energetic alpha particle fell on one of the light elements such as Lithium, Beryllium, or Boron an energetic particle was emitted. Chadwick of Cambridge eventually unravelled the mystery. A neutron.
