You can purchase a parts interchange manual on CD-ROM or hard copy from Ebay. I bought one recently. I don't recall the exact amount, but it was reasonable. I recommend the CD-ROM because the manuals are hundreds of pages long. It's made my parts search much easier because GM shared parts among its product lines. The manual will let you cross reference other GM parts to see if they'll fit your car.
A must-have for any restorer!

Engines 389 and larger can be set for 6 degrees BTDC. Remember to disconnect and plug the vacuum advance hose before setting the base timing.
If you are looking to purchase parts for a 1965 Pontiac GTO a great place to start looking would be eBay Motors. You could literally find every part you needed to rebuild this car on eBay Motors.
The 1965 catalina came standard with the 290hp 389ci V-8 with 325, 333, 338hp tri power optional 389s. Also available were 2 421 v-8s, a 356 4bbl and the H.O. 376hp tri-power. With standard 3.42 rear gears and a turbo 400, top speed was 105-125mph.

How many pontiac parisienne's were built in 1964?
Pontiac offered a package for the Parisienne called "custom sport", not super sport. This included bucket seats, a centre console w/ floor shifter and alternate trim. The base Parisienne was the same as the 65 Grand Prix sold in the U.S with trim taken from the Catalina 2plus2.
This is no question.....
No, not even close. Pontiac 350 intakes will interchange with 1965-1979 Pontiac 389,400,421,428,455 intakes. Most all aftermarket Pontiac V8 intakes are designed for the 1965 up bolt pattern. 350 Chevy is part of the small block Chevy engine family, and virtually nothing interchanges with a Pontiac V8.
