The Gulf of Suez and the Gulf of Aqaba
Gulf of Suez, Red Sea, Gulf Of Aqaba.
The Sinai peninsula is an area shaped like an inverted triangle in north-eastern Egypt. It is largely bounded by the Mediterranean Sea (to the North) the Suez Canal and the Gulf of Suez to the West, and the Gulf of Aquaba to the East.
It is the Sinai Peninsula. The Sinai Peninsula looks a lot like a shark tooth or upside-down home-plate in baseball. Its western edge is the Suez Canal and the Gulf of Suez. Its eastern edge is the Gulf of Aqaba and the Israeli/Palestinian-Egyptian border. Its northern coast is on the Mediterranean and its southernmost point is the confluence of the Gulf of Suez and the Gulf of Aqaba at the Red Sea. The canal was completed in 1869. A French company was behind the project. The canal was built by forced labor.
The Gulf of Suez refers to the northern portion of the Red Sea which splits the Sinai peninsula. The western portion of the Gulf of Suez is used mainly for shipping between the Mediterranean Sea and the Indian Ocean, via the Suez Channel. The eastern portion of the Gulf of Suez acts as a shipping route, enabling cargo to be taken up the Red Sea to the port of Aqaba.

I was doing a crossword puzzle and it said Mideast's Gulf of___. The answer turned out to be Aden. I'm not sure if this is what you were looking for or not, but I hope it helps. Gulf of...Suez, Guinea, Aqaba, Oman, Aden, and the Persian Gulf are the most popular.
