Some of most Christian denominations believe it is wrong. The ones that believe The Bible do.
Some people say it was just Paul, because he was a homophobic.
Leviticus 18:22 was written many years before Paul, as it is in the Old Testament "You shall not lie with a male as one lies with a female; it is an abomination. "
Genesis tells the story of Sodom and Gomorrah. Genesis 13:13 says the men of Sodom were very wicked.
Genesis 19:5 says that the men of Sodom wanted to have relations with male travelers in Lot's house.
God destroyed the town because of their sin, primarily homosexuality.
I Corinthians 6:9 and I Timothy 1:10 say that if a person is a homosexual they will not inherit the kingdom of God.
But to clarify, it is NOT JUST homosexuality! Adulterers (going outside the marriage) and fornicators (sex before or outside of marriage) are mentioned in those verses, too.
God had more to say about heterosexual relationship outside of marriage than He did about homosexual relationships.
God hates all forms of sexual sins, not just homosexual ones.
Take a look at I Thessalonians 4:3&4 "For this is the will of God, your sanctification; that is, that you abstain from sexual immorality; that each of you know how to possess his own vessel in sanctification and honor."
God designed sex for marriage, and within marriage only.
Leviticus 18 doesn't cover just homosexuality, but many different types of relationships.
