Using the word convenience in the context of abortion is insulting to women. Women have abortions as a animal caught in a trap trying to chew it's leg off not like they are going out for a latte. Many say adoption is a alternative but there is no alternative to birth other than abortion. Adoption is the alternative after birth. No one has an abortion because having a child is not convenient. There are good, serious reasons behind why a woman would not change her life permanently and totally by giving birth. Just like you should never have a child just because it's convenient. No woman have an abortion easily. They all go through their options and what it would be like to keep the baby but not all have the option to keep it or to give it up for adoption. If you have children you know how impossible it would seem to give one of them away. Some say losing your job, not having money, quit school etc if you keep the baby, is not good reasons but that is because they re not in her shoes. Changing your life completely around has nothing to do with convenience.
