There has not been a census in Lebanon for decades because of how politically contentious the subject is, but it is believed that between 40-44% of Lebanese citizens are Christians. However, since Lebanon has received over 1.9 million Syrian refugees and was already holding 400,000 Palestinian refugees, the percentage of Lebanese Christians in the general population is far lower than this.
The question is ambiguous. Is it aboutthe percentage of the population of Lebanon that is Jewish, orthe percentage of Jews in the world who are living in Lebanon.
The population is estimated to be around 32%. This is a drop due to emigration from 1970 levels when it was 62%.
As of 2021, the population of Tripoli, Lebanon is estimated to be around 500,000 people. It is the second largest city in Lebanon after Beirut.
