What percentage of kids in school are bullied?

29 percent in the USA and in Canada, 23 percent. Those percentages have raised through the years and lowered. They are getting doctors, and many people to stop this horrible problem, but some of it doesn't stop. Its proven most of the kids bully because they're depressed in their home life. At home, things can be hard. They have been sending out magazines that say, "Bullying is NOT cool." and more sayings to help prevent this. Kids have to speak up and talk about this with teachers. Teachers can help with friends, home, or school issues you have. Some teachers don't help a lot, and that's OK. Kids have to have other people to talk to like family members.

Prevent bullying! The school bully has been around as long as there have been schools. I believe it was Jr. High School that I encountered meeting up with a few bullies.

Looking back, I remember being bullied when I was walking alone, maybe heading to another class or making my way home after school. I wasn't a very big person either as size matters to whether a bully is going to pick on you or not.

I agee with someone elses input on this subject. The bully has issues with the home he/she is living. Frustration and anger get festered in the person because they are not able to articulate their feelings to anyone. So, they take their aggressions out on someone they believe they can easlily overpower. This causes them to have temporary relief from the stress they carry around.

To prevent someone from bullying you around, try to walk with a group of people, even if you don't know them. You can walk with them without their notice and you stand a better chance of not getting picked out by the school bully.

Today, I live in my late 50's and have a concealed weapons permit. This makes me legal to carry a fire arm on my person. Now, this choice brings a great responsiblity, too. Never to draw it out, unless intended to use it on anyone who poises a life treat to me or my family.

It takes time to learn how and when to shoot it at anyone who might show signs of aggression. The school bullies are still out their and many of them went on to take their aggressions out on the public sector in their later age. Many of these school bullies are in our prison system, serving out terms.

Use good sense when walking around in areas that could potentially put you in harms way. Don't go walking around when the sun goes down. This puts you in danger as well as bullies are getting more sophisticated about their approach to crime. They want what you have and many times they will go to great lengths to get what they see they can have...
