Many married people share in the responsibilities of cleaning their home. For example, my wife cleans the living room and bedrooms and I clean the bathrooms and kitchen area. This can, and does, work different for different couples.

I could find no percentage statistics, but it is "hundreds of thousands" per year. From the number of married couples in the USA, we can infer that it's at least 2% of all couples, but that's a conservative estimate.
If the two adults are a married couple they will get one bedroom. The child gets his own bedroom. If the adults are family members of two different generations, one being elderly, they will get their own bedrooms, for a total of three bedrooms. Unmarried couples are not eligible. Siblings are also not eligible, unless one is disabled and dependent upon the other, and must apply for such special exception.
