As of September 12, 2009, about 68.66% of questions are unanswered, so that is roughly a 31.33% chance of getting a question answered. However, these statistics are not 100% accurate, because it also depends on how specific a question is, how complicated the question is, and what percentage of knowledgeable users are on WikiAnswers at that point in time. Though, the bolded percentage above is the most accurate statistic, which is just a general overlook of all questions asked, and whether or not they get answered. To increase your chances of getting your question answered, remember to use correct spelling and grammar. Also, placing your question in the right category will ensure that people who can answer your question based on the topic will be able to find it.
You CAN answer a question, go to 'Unanswered questions' and type the category you want or go to 'New questions' to look for more questions.
Thousands of questions are posted on WikiAnswers every day. As WikiAnswers relies mainly on volunteers to answer questions, it is not always possible for every question to be answered.

All questions are equally difficult, and just as easily answered IF you ask the right person. Unfortunately, many questions on WikiAnswers go unanswered because no one who can answer them has visited the site and seen them.
