Anorexia, or anorexia nervosa, is an eating disorder which causes certain people to have a great fear of gaining weight. This fear usually manifests in the teen years. Usually it starts with dieting. Dieting begins to get out of control and all they can think about is dieting, weight, and body shape. A person that suffers from anorexia feel as though there body's shape is too large and must continue to diet until their body matches what the mind sees, which never happens. If you know of someone that might be suffering from this affliction, seek help right way!
