A Manufacturer is a person or company who produces a product. There are millions of products; they could range from a food item like Chewing Gum to a gigantic machine bigger than a large building that excavates minerals from a mine.
A person who is not a Manufacturer could be a Service Provider. Service providers range from Attorneys to Ministers and Priests; from Tax Accountants to Dealers in a casino.
As you see, the difference between a Manufacturer and one who provides Services is that the Manufacturer produces a tangible Product that can be eaten, drunk, driven, kicked, thrown, worn, played with, ridden, sat in, slept on, etc etc.
