Pine tree
Pine tree
It helps them store the water in their stems because water can escape through the needles
Cacti have needles (spines) instead of leaves.
produce glucose (sugars) through photosynthesis
It is a Deciduous type.Trees with needles are Conifers.

Cactus needles have a number of functions. Firstly, because cactus plants live in deserts and semi-arid areas, the needles reduce the loss of moisture that normally occurs through evaporation. As the cactus is a "flowering plant", like all plants in this family it has leaves, but in this case, the leaves are the needles. there is very little surface area on the needles, so less moisture is lost through evaporation. Because of the shape of the needles, they also help capture whatever moisture is available. Dew and other forms of precipitation will tend to drip from the needles to the soil directly around the roots of a cactus, enabling the roots to utilise as much of the moisture as possible. Cactus needles also deter plant-eating animals.
a plant pathogen, causing reed needles of species af Abies
It is to protect the plant from any unwanted substances. It will only allow a few things to pass through that it needs. It's like our skin.
Yes, the stomata in a plant allow excess water vapor to escape from the plant through a process called transpiration. This helps in regulating the water balance and preventing the plant from becoming overhydrated. Stomata also play a role in gas exchange, allowing carbon dioxide to enter the plant for photosynthesis.
this is so because air spaces in soil allow water to reach the plant's roots faster and air to circulate through out the plant. Also the airspaces allow the plant roots to grow deep within the earth's surface.
