glucose and other food molecules
Photosynthesis make glucose molecules and store energy. Respiration break up and release energy
fats are more complex than other forms of carbohydrates so it take more energy for the body to break them down, so generally if it doesn't need to it doesn't break them down if your body needs the energy it will break down the fats
Water, like any other molecule stores energy in bonds. Water is made of 2 carbon to hydrogen bonds, which require energy to break but will release energy if they reform in a manner requiring less energy or strain.
If there isn't enough energy in the atom the molecules start bumping into each other and there's enough energy then the chemical bond breaks. hope this helps :)
the energy used/released in those reactions are used in other ways that the organism needs in order to survive.
The force that causes rocks to break as plates rub past each other is called shear stress. This stress leads to the formation of faults and the subsequent release of energy in the form of earthquakes.
Bond forming releases energy. Atoms will begin with a high potential energy, and will bond with other atoms to form compounds which have a lower potential energy, and are therefore more stable. Bond breaking takes in energy i.e. energy is required to break bonds.
Heat and chemical energy. When you charge a battery, energy will be stored as potential energy* and will release heat as a by-product. *I am not sure if potential and kinetic energy just tell what condition an energy is. I will say that the energy stored will be turn into potential which is then turned into chemical when a thing needs to mechanical energy.
chemical energy, mechanical energy, and electrical energy
Energy cannot be created or destroyed, so other energy needs to come from another source.
