You can choose which position you sleep in, although most suggest you sleep on either your back or your belly. If you're a front sleeper, just move your pad more to the front. If you're a back sleeper, move your pad more to the back. This will help to prevent leaks, but it's not a guarantee on a heavy day. If you want, you can double up on pads: having one more to the front and the other more to the back, joining in the middle. Another way to prevent leaks is if you're a back sleeper, put the pad in the normal spot then another perpendicular, so it's making a T.c:
