No, if he had he wouldn't of had the government start interfering where they do not belong. Their jobs are only to protect the United States based on the Constitution. They make laws, uphold the laws, and judge criminals based on the laws. Taking over Health care and taking tax payers money to give it to someone else is not what the people wanted. Hard working citizens didn't deserve to have a portion of their money given to someone who is "struggling" by the government's standards. What if the person was barely above the "struggling" level than Oh, well they still have to provide for the needs/ or wants of the people who are considered to be struggling. The fact that FDR started this whole mess proves that he did NOT understand the public.
