Although LBJ failed in Vietnam, he got of civil rights legislation passed. He did a lot of good for poor people in the USA and helped to get more individuals educated with his "Great Society" ideas. JFK did not do very much except for standing up to the Russians during the Cuban Missile Crisis. LBJ was much more effective than JFK.
