I have 1980 Honda Goldwing Interstate with 55,000 on the odometer. I average 45-48 MPG. Jerry Smith Washington Court House, Ohio
The book says rear tire with 200 lb load 36 psi or max load 40 psi It depends on the model i.e. the GL1200 Goldwing I/A 1984-1987 is 38 psi front and 44 psi rear. Most 'wingers' or should that be whingers? run 41 and 41 on modern tyres. The ride is firmer but the wear is greater.
timing belt on the 1988 goldwing gl 1500 should be changed out every 5 years or 50,000 miles, what ever comes first honda says every 100,000 miles
