The process used by to release energy depends on the cell. There are processesthroughout life that can metabolise just about anything containing chemical energy. The plants can also gather energy from the sun and other organisms can take energy from volcanic vents at the bottom of the ocean. In animals there are also many processes that metabolise things like protein, fat and carbohydrates One common process humans use for metabolising carbohydrates, glucose particularly is called glycolysis. This involves 10 steps, each step giving energy in the form of ATP or Adenosine Tri Phosphate. The ATP is then used by enzymes to do the actual work. For the ten steps of this process, see the related links below.
Respiration which occurs in the cytoplasm and mitochondria of all cells
Glucose + Oxygen = Carbon Dioxide + water + Energy (in the form of ATP- adenosine triphosphate)
Energy
The process of getting energy from food molecules occurs in the mitochondria of cells (human or otherwise). Energy is stored within the numerous bonds of each food molecule. By adding activation energy and separating the atoms from each other, a chemical process starts and the energy is released and immediately used or stored as fat.
What is the process stars used to release energy
sex-is an orgnic compund that resvers energy
adenosine triphosphate, ATP
Body cells get energy by breathing through cellular respiration. Respiration is the process by which the oxygen we breathe in is used to oxidize food, leading to energy release.
Photosynthesis
Oxygen is used by the mitochondria for a process called oxidative phosphorylation to generate energy for the cell, producing ATP, or adenosine triphosphate.
Glucose
Energy
Oxygen is used by cells for the process of respiration. Respiration is the release of energy from food. When this happens using oxygen it is called aerobic respiration: glucose + oxygen ----> water + carbon dioxide + ENERGY IRON
Exocytosis is the process used to release insulin from pancreatic cells into the bloodstream.

Glucose and other monosaccharides.
Glucose
The process organisms use to break down food is called metabolism. ATP, the universal energy currency of cells, is used to transfer chemical energy between different chemical reactions.
