Metamorphic rock cycle
Not a whole lot of difference, other than the size of the particles and possibly the cementing material.
Sedimentary rocks can turn back into sediment by a process of weathering and erosion.
Erosion is the process of water softening rock into soil or sand (depending on the type of rock). It is a long process which uses rain and high tides against rock. Overtime, the stone is softened by the water and begins to crack and crumble. This continues until the stone becomes soil or sand.
When magma erupts from the volcano and starts to come down the sides, It slowly cools going down and turns into igneous rock.
it turns into sand

Sedimentary rocks can turn back into sediment by a process of weathering and erosion.
Sand is composed of small loose particles of eroded rock of any type, but commonly it is particles of quartz from igneous or metamorphic rock. Each sand grain is actually a rock unto itself. Only when the sand grains are cemented together through a process known as lithification, do the sand grains become part of a new sedimentary rock.
when a granite rock weathers andit turns to sand or clay also called sediment.
It's called cementation, part of the lithification process which turns sediments into rock.
When small pieces of rock break off larger pieces, they form the basis of all soil. The rock turns in to gravel, which turns into sand. Plants, animals, and minerals break down to form clay. Silt is a dust particle which is made up of minerals and tiny bits of rock. It is smaller than sand and bigger than clay. When the right amount of gravel, sand, clay, and silt mix, it turns into soil.
it is called weathering
Sedimentary rock is rock that has been worn away and turned into sediment such as sand. That sediment is then compacted together and turned into rock. So metamorphic rock wears away and compacts into sedimentary rock
No. Condensation is the process in which a gas turns into a liquid. You can filter the sand from the water using a funnel and filter paper, and then let the water evaporate from the wet sand you get from the filtration.
